Hi, I’m Sarah, a freelance writer and translator based in Tokyo.
After slaving away for 5 years to get a degree in Anthropology, I soon ran off to the crazy world of Japan to eat sushi, dress like a geisha, and mingle with the Yakuza. Up until now, though, unfortunately the only thing I’ve accomplished off that list does not involve white makeup or white suits, but does involve white rice.
I currently work as a writer, editor and translator, both freelance and as a staff writer for the up-and-coming business magazine J@pan Inc. For samples, please see my portfolio. If you are interested in translation services or commissioning an article, please contact me. I am proficient HTML and CSS, have been blogging for eight years and building websites for over 10. I can use Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash and Dreamweaver, love technology and have a penchant for photography.
